FULL LIFE CHARITABLE TRUST

The Bible tells us that Jesus died for our freedom and we are called to live a full life. What does that full life look like and why are many not experiencing it?

Our churches are full of people who are struggling with debilitating fear and trauma, addiction to substances, negative self-talk, and all kinds of sickness. This is just a short list of the many things that are holding people back from a victorious life in Christ.

Jesus told us there would be trouble in this world, but He also told us we would overcome. We should not be enslaved to anything; it is completely possible to get free from all that is holding you back and walk through life with joy and peace while fulfilling our destiny as God's loved child.

The Full Life Charitable Trust was formed in August 2022 to assist and resource churches in bringing healing and restoration to their members so they can be equipped to fulfill the call on their lives.

OUR TEAM

Those facilitating the Full Life Retreat serve in the Heart of the North Celebration Church in Kaikohe with Pastors Michael and Allison Shaw.

Ministry like the Full Life Retreat has always been an important part of the Heart of the North church calendar. So, when the Full Life Retreat launched in 2023 and it was clear God was using it powerfully, it seemed a natural progression to take this blessing to the wider body of Christ.

TRUSTEE - JANENE FORLONG

Janene began this ministry in 2017 with the Freedom from Fear workshops using the content of her book, Where Fear Rules.' Then in 2022, she knew she was to take this a step further. She received inspiration from Luke 4:18-19 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come."
This initiated the launching of the trust and the writing of the Full Life Retreat. Michael and Janene lead this ministry team with 3 trustees and a fantastic group of volunteers who give their time joyfully to make sure as many people are released from their heavy burdens of sin and trauma. What a pleasure and joy it is to serve in this way!

TRUSTEE - GEOFF WIKLUND

Geoff is an itinerant prophet helping people see and understand the Lord. He has been in the ministry since 1985 and taught Janene at Bible College. He believes strongly in what the Lord taught us through the story of the Good Samaritan, that we should heal the wounds of those who have been attacked and robbed. So he is involved because he believes in this work.

TRUSTEE - ALLISON SHAW

Allison is a senior pastor in the Heart of the North church in Kaikohe and has been in ministry for over 30 years. Her heart is to see people come into a dynamic personal relationship with Jesus Christ and experience health and wholeness in every area of their lives.

TRUSTEE - ANNIE HILTON

For over 20 years, Annie has been working in Sonagacchi, Kolkata, one of the world's largest red-light districts. Having seen firsthand the difference freedom can bring, restoring hope, dignity and respect, she is passionate about freedom. Now based in Aotearoa, she is excited to be part of the Full Life Charitable Trust.

PASTOR ENDORSEMENTS

Church members attending conferences, retreats, and seminars outside of the context of the local church benefit individuals but rarely help to shift things forward in the life of the church. The Full Life Retreat is different, in that it has the power to move your church into a new level of spiritual awakening and growth. When pastors embrace the Full Life Retreat as something they are doing as a local church, the church gets activated into stepping in the full life of Christ in a greater measure. The net result is the church is better equipped to achieve its God given mandate. Members of all levels of spiritual maturity become unstuck from the things that have been hindering their fruitfulness. The Full Life team comes ready to serve and do the “heavy lifting” and the church reaps the benefits. It deposits something of eternal value into your congregation that has lasting benefits. We do one at least once a year.

We want to thank you and your team for the wonderful retreat last Saturday! It was a significant day for our church. It is great joy to be able to endorse the Full life ministry. I have been to two retreats, Kaikohe and Whangarei. This is a vital ministry as it endorses the love and compassion of God's delight in liberating those bound and captive by the snares of the devil.
